The Project Begins :) 1-21-09

Of all places to start the project !!! Why not in a laundromat ?

I was fortunate to work with Brandy. She is a makeup artist and hair stylist in training. Also a lot of fun to work with.

We shot in South Bethlehem Pa at the University laundromat. There were more people than I expected so it made for an interesting and cozy shoot. We had a local who wanted a cell phone picture taken with Brandy and she was kind enough to oblige.

We finished the shoot with a few quick photo opportunities in front of the Fun House bar. The light and of course Brandy made it an interesting portrait.

The Photo Relay Concept

I always like to be working on a project and this one I expect to be a lot of fun.
The whole concept of the project is to see how people are connected. It will prove to
be an interesting project for me and those involved.
The project is inline with the 2008 Olympics and a LOT closer to home.

208 Environmental Portraits of everyday people in the Lehigh Valley. This is a relay concept. All participants must be 18 and you MUST have the next person name who wants to participate in the relay. You also must live within a 10 mile radius of the Lehigh Valley. I would like to post a little bit of information about under the portrait.
If you wanted to have you email information posted, it is totally up to you.
The information will be VERY general and it’s up to you on how much you want to share.
In the end, you get a nice portrait and we have some fun doing a photo shoot.
